If you're just starting in this wonderful hobby, we are more than happy to provide guidance and information as to which model will best suit you.You can fly 2 channelled radio controlled aircraft for under £20 (J Perkins) believe it or not and these lovely little aircraft are amongst our best-sellers.

Balsa Kits

Probably one of the best ways to introduce yourself to the building aspect of the hobby is to purchase a balsa kit.
These kits usually contain plans, pre-marked balsa sheets for you to cut out, tissue etc.
The smaller kits tend to be free-flight, rubber powered models but with a little ingenuity, electric power and mini-rc components can be added.

Advanced Balsa Kits

For the experienced builder or for the more adventurous, advanced kits are available. The Ben Buckle range of self-build kits include models up to 96" wingspan (2438mm) and include scale, classic and trainer versions of some of the best vintage kits around.

Park Fliers

Parkzone and Hobbyzone produce some of the best Park Fliers on the market today. These ready to fly electric radio controlled aircraft are supplied with everything you need to fly. The aircraft, all batteries, controller, charger and in some cases, instructional DVD are all included in the price so a great way of buying-to-flying in a minimum of time. Most park fliers operate on 27Mhz radio control and have a range of around 2,500 feet.
We stock a good range of park flier spares also for those inevitable mishaps. Prices range between £50 to £140.

Shock Fliers and Other Electric Models

As battery and electric motor technology evolves and improves, more innovative models appear on the scene. Shock Fliers are capable of incredible 3D manouvres (stunt flying) both indoor and outside. Whether you're flying in a gymnasium-sized hall or down at the field, these foam profile type models are capable of incredible aerobatics both at low and high speed. Prices start at around £20 for a shock flier kit (airframe only).
We stock a good range of shock fliers and also depron sheet should you decide to design and build your own.

Other Electric

Whether you want to fly a scale warbird, trainer or even a jet, there's an electric model to suit you. Kits are available that come with motors, LiPoly batteries and speed controllers or simply the bare airframe only - you choose. These models tend to be flown by the more experienced flier due to their aerobatic capabilities and the high speeds that they can achieve. We stock kits by Art-Tech, Phase 3, Ultrafly, Eflite, J Perkins,to name but a few.

ARTF - Internal Combustion

ARTF kits come in all shapes and sizes from the beginners trainer model to the large scale warbird or jet. The typical ARTF trainer kit can be assembled over a couple of evenings and requires a minimum of knowledge to do so. Generally, you supply and fit your own engine and radio gear although some deals are available where you can purchase the model, engine and radio for a discounted price. (See JP's Jumper 25 kit)
